My BBQ Ribs

Such a treat! Considering how simple these are to make, the flavor complexity is tremendous: sweet and tangy all at the same time, just how barbecued ribs should be. Simply combine the sauce, rub it over the ribs, and leave to marinate for up to 24 hours — the longer the better. The recipe is quite forgiving and will work even if you’re not too precise with measuring out ingredients, making it fabulous and foolproof!

My BBQ Ribs

3lb. 5oz. baby back ribs
1 tbs. sesame oil
2 tbs. soy sauce
6 tbs. honey
1 tbs. ketchup or tomato paste
1 tbs. balsamic vinegar
½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of Thai fish sauce (optional)

Place the ribs on a rimmed baking sheet. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl and, using your hands, rub all over the ribs. Leave to marinate in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
